Using various GPS-based devices and apps, you can utilise this technology to locate things as well as people.

Most of us think GPS is only for navigation. However, using various GPS-based devices and apps, you can utilise this technology to locate things as well as people. ET show you how you can keep track of everything important to you.

Tied to the family

There would be times when you would want to keep track of family members or let them know where you are. The simplest way is to use your phone’s built-in GPS combined with Find My Phone feature (Find my iPhone for iOS users, Find your phone on Android) to locate a person on a map. Keep in mind that you would need the Apple ID/Google ID to access these details.

In case you don’t want to share your Apple/Google ID, you can use other free apps. Family Locator by Life 360 is a free app for Android and iOS that let’s you see where each family member is on the app. You make a private circle on the app with yourself and other family members and you can even put location sharing on automatic for constant use. The app even lets you chat with others in in the circle on one- on-one basis or as a group. Another no fuss app you can try is Glympse (free for Android and iOS). It allows you to send a ‘Glympse’ via the app along with how long the person can track you using the app.

For your pets

There are dedicated GPS trackers available for your pets. The Tracksafe Buddy dog collar (Rs 9,000) uses GPS and GPRS to track your pet and even lets you create geofences. There is also the option of one way calling so you can listen in to surrounding noise if required. The price includes first 12 months of subscription service.

You can also look at the Tagg GPS pet tracker on Amazon for Rs 9,500. It can work for most pets as it attaches to the collar and lets you see your pet’s location in real-time on a map. It even tracks your pets’ activity and rest to give you an overview of their health.

An eye on young and old

If you are not comfortable giving a phone to children or tracking the very elderly through apps, you can get a small GPS tracker like TrackID or LetsTrack personal to keep an eye on them. Priced at Rs 6,000 onwards, these are compact, ready-to-use GPS + GSM trackers that can be placed in a bag or clipped onto clothing.

You can monitor the location of the tracker on any browser, set up geo-fences (safe zones) and be alerted via SMS when that fence is breached. Keep in mind that there is a monthly subscription fee also involved that differs from device to device.

Find stolen vehicles

The LetsTrack Bike Series is exclusively meant for two wheelers and the price includes an one-year subscription. You can get real time tracking details of your vehicles as well as parking notification, over-speeding alarm, mileages details and 24-hours location history. You can set a geofence so that if your vehicle travels out of the authorized area, you will be notified.

There is also a built-in battery that lets the device track location up to three hours even if the vehicle is not powered on. After the first year, the annual subscription is Rs 1,200.

Keep the car safe

The MapmyIndia MMI Rover 201 lets you track your vehicle in real-time using your phone or browser and gets house number-level map data for location. Moreover, you can get information like engine status, speeding, vehicle route and address. The waterproof tracker has internal battery for backup and an immobilizer to cut engine power if the car is stolen. You can set it to notify you for over speeding as well as if vehicle deviates from its route.

Locate those keys

Most of us have been in situations where we are unable to locate keys, spectacles, wallets, flash drives and other objects pof daily needs in the house. Instead of searching throughout the house, you can use a compact Bluetooth tag tracker. These trackers are usually tiny (as large as a coin) and can be easily stuck or clipped on to most objects.

You can then use an app on your smartphone to locate the tag in your house. We recommend you check out the Portronics Tring (Rs 579), Nut mini (Rs 1,340) or Find by SenseGiz (Rs 1,899).

15. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

16. But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

17. And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

18. And the Egyptians shall know that | am the LORD, when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

19. And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them.

26. And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

27. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

Good morning Beloved. We’re delighted to have you here! Welcome to today’s devotional. Thank you for joining us.

Do you believe in the activity of Angels? Today, we’re looking into the ministry of Angels.

Today’s Powerful Confession: I confess today that Angels are on assignment for my sake because I am on the Lord’s side. They fight for me, defend and protect me, cover up for me and assist me. Everywhere I need help I am never stranded because Angels are positioned to help me always. I decree that in this month and going forward, God gives His Angels charge over my family and I to keep us in all our ways in Jesus’ name, Amen. Hallelujah!

OPEN HEAVEN 6 DECEMBER 2022 MESSAGE

Hebrews 1:13-14 says that angels are ministering spirits. They are sent to minister to those of us who are heirs of salvation. Once you are born again, at least one angel is allocated to follow you everywhere you go. He is to follow you so that he can protect, assist and defend you.

The angel will also monitor your actions and report your activities to God. It is a beautiful thing to have an angel with you everywhere you go. Whenever the enemies think they have gotten you, your angel can just simply take you out of their hold when they have gone to sleep (Acts 5:17-25 , Acts 12:5-11).

Even if you come face to face with lions, an angel will shut their mouths so that they don’t harm you (Daniel 6:19-22 ). With an angel with you everywhere you go, you have the best security in the universe because angels are really strong.

The first time you see an angel of God, the first thing he will tell you is, Fear not, because you would really be frightened. What you get from an angel is determined by whose side you are on. If you are on Gods side, the angel will work for you; if you are not, the angel can block your way so that everything you try to do would just be hitting a brick wall.

In Numbers 22:21-35 , we read about Balaam who God told not to go with Balak when the latter called for the prophet. Balaam insisted that he wanted to go. An angel blocked the way and was ready to kill him because the Bible says Gods anger was kindled against him.

If a demon is blocking your way, you can tell it to get out and it would leave, but if an angel stands in your way and you tell him to go, he would ask, In whose name? If you say, in Jesus name, he will say, It is Jesus that asked me to stand here and there would be no way to move forward from there.

If you don’t want an angel to stand in your way, you had better not annoy God. It was an angel that ensured that the Egyptians did not get close to the Israelites all night so that they could be drowned in the morning.

The angel was rescuing the Israelites while simultaneously pushing the Egyptians towards death. Do not displease God; surrender your life to Jesus and live a holy life so that Gods angels will work in your favour.

OPEN HEAVEN 6 DECEMBER 2022 KEY POINT: Prayer Points For Open Heavens 6 December 2022

Angels will work for you if you are on Gods side but against you if you are living in sin.
