Agbalumo: Health Benefits Of African Star Apple

It’s the season of African Star Apple, known as Agbalumo in Yoruba,

Udara in Igbo, Agwaluma in Hausa and botanically called Chrysophyllum albidum.

African Star Apple is a tropical plant and abundant in Nigeria.

Agbalumo is a great fruit that gives you a star shape when you cut it open like.

This is the reason it is referred to as star apple.

The rounded brown fruit can be so sweet but sometimes people avoid buying it because of the disappointment that could come from taking a sour one.

The Chairman Of The Labour Party In The 36States Have Declared That Peter Obi Can’t Win-Bashir Ahmad.

Ahead of the forthcoming presidential election, a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress and former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has alleged that Labour Party Chairmen across the 36 states of the federation said that the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, cannot win the presidential election on Saturday.

Speaking further, Bashir Ahmad noted that these Labour Party’s chairmen said this because Peter Obi has neglected them in running of his campaign and in mobilisation activities.

Mr Bashir Ahmad made this claim in a tweet he made on his verified twitter handle on Thursday night. He wrote: “BREAKING: The chairmen of the Labour Party in the 36 states of the federation have declared that the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi cannot win on Saturday because he has neglected them in the running of his campaign and mobilisation activities.”

On several occasions, Bashir Ahmad and some other members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, had claimed that Peter Obi lacks the needed structure to win the forthcoming presidential election. But the point is that we must wait patiently till Saturday, so as to know will be elected, because the power only belongs to the people of Nigeria.
